Longtime Showtime Networks Inc. programming executive Peter Keramidas will exit the programmer Feb. 1 as part of a reorganization of the department.
Showtime also announced the promotion of veteran program-acquisitions executive Matthew Duda to executive vice president of acquisitions, overseeing the company's foreign- and domestic-distribution activities in television and home video.
Duda, a 20-year Showtime executive, will also be involved in the theatrical distribution of the company’s newly created Showtime Independent Films division.
Keramidas, a 10-year Showtime veteran, was network executive VP of programming and was involved in many aspects of the day-to-day operations of the programming department. He's leaving to "pursue other opportunities," according to Showtime officials.
