Sigma Adds Diagnostic Tool

Sigma Systems is adding a new service-diagnostic tool for call-center support for broadband operators rolling out video, high-speed data and voice-over-Internet-protocol services.

The new "Advanced Diagnostic Manager" features a script-driven interface with automated diagnostic tests, analysis and intelligent-transition rules to establish service and troubleshoot problems.

Sigma said the new software simplifies the diagnostic process, reducing call-handle times and training costs.
