Sigma Debuts New VoIP Product

Sigma Systems has released its new “Sigma Voice Client Service Center,” a self-service portal application for cable operators launching voice-over-Internet-protocol service.

The product suite allows subscribers to view their account and service information, select new service features and bundles and change features and parameters.

Sigma said the software can cut customer-service-representative operational costs for routine changes and updates to subscriber accounts by reducing call-center volume.

The vendor added that one unnamed MSO plans to use CSC later this year.
