Slim Viasource IPO Raises $40 Million

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-Outsourcer Viasource Communications Inc. priced its initial public offering last Friday at $8 per share-at the low end of a previously lowered range-and trimmed the share amount for the second time in a week.

Viasource said it would issue 5 million common shares Friday to raise $40 million before costs. The company added that it offered 750,000 shares for underwriter over-allotments.

Last Wednesday, the company whittled the offering to up to 6.9 million shares from 11 million and cut the price range from an earlier $14 to $16.
