Smithsonian Channel to Encore CBS's 'Sunday Morning'

CBS's Sunday morning show is broadening its distribution family.

Smithsonian Channel will begin encoring CBS News's Sunday Morning With Charles Osgood on Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. Smithsonian Channel is owned by the Smithsonian Institution and Showtime Networks, which is part of CBS Corp.

The show will be rebroadcast after it clears all CBS affiliates. 

CBS Sunday Morning is the top-rated morning news show for the day and draws an estimated 6 million viewers a week. Rand Morrison executive produces the 35-year-old program.
