SNY Kicks Off Rutgers Coverage

SNY has kicked off its comprehensive coverage of Rutgers college football

The regional sports network serving the New York metro area began its weekly coverage of coach Greg Schiano’s press conferences today at 11:30 a.m. Throughout the 2008 season, The Greg Schiano Weekly Press Conference also will repeat Tuesdays at 12:30 a.m.

Rutgers Rush Hour, a one-hour condensed version of the previous game, will debut on SNY on Sunday mornings at 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. throughout the season. For Rutgers day games, Rutgers Rush Hour will air at midnight on Saturday. 

In addition as part of SNY’s recent football/basketball agreement with the Big East Conference, the network will encore complete Scarlet Knights games from the previous week under the heading of Tuesday Knight Football

The network -- owned by New York Mets' affiliated Sterling Entertainment Enterprises, Time Warner Cable and Comcast Corp., which also manages the service -- also features Inside Rutgers Footballwith Greg Schiano. The weekly showcase for the squad will make its season-debut Aug. 29 at 4:30 p.m. Produced for the first time HD, the feature show will premiere Fridays at 4:30 p.m. throughout September, before moving to 6:30 p.m. for the remainder of the season, starting in October. Replays of Inside Rutgers Football with Greg Schiano will air late Friday nights and Saturday mornings throughout the season as well.
