To celebrate the start of the 2010 baseball season, SNY will bring all-access coverage to Citi Field, where the New York Mets will host the Florida Marlins on April 5 at 1 p.m.
SNY will feature an hour-long Mets pre-game show, featuring new title sponsor Subway Restaurants, live from Citi Field at noon.
Subway Pre-Game Live host Chris Carlin and analysts Bob Ojeda and Darryl Strawberry will be joined by John Franco and SNY's broadcast team of Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling and Gary Cohen. Kevin Burkhardt will also participate extensively in Subway Pre-Game Live's coverage with exclusive player and coach interviews.
Other special guests, including former players, reporters and sports and entertainment celebrities, are expected to participate as well, and fans are encouraged to stop by the network's on-site set adjacent to the Jackie Robinson Rotunda at the ballpark.
SNY will again produce a comprehensive post-game show -- Lincoln Mercury Post-Game Live -- following every Mets game this season, including those airing locally on WPIX11, and nationally on Fox and ESPN.
SNY's sports news and entertainment program block -- Daily News Live, The WheelHouse and Loud Mouths -- will also be on the scene with live coverage and commentary from Citi Field following the Mets-Marlins opening day tilt.
