Solid Debut for Court TV's Detective

There are evidently quite a few amateur sleuths among Nielsen Media Research
households.

Courtroom Television Network's new interactive series, I, Detective,
got off to a solid start, earning a 1.0 overnight rating during its Sept. 4
premiere at 9:30 p.m.

The show -- which affords viewers an opportunity to follow clues, find
evidence and solve a crime -- also played well among adults 18-plus, drawing
942,000 of those viewers to rank sixth among all basic-cable shows in its time
slot.

I. Detective also placed sixth in the time slot with women aged 25
through 54 -- a key Court TV constituency -- attracting 258,000 of those
watchers.
