Solid Ratings Play For New Lifetime Series


Lifetime's two new kids-themed reality shows generated strong ratings returns in their Feb. 1 debuts.
The network's One Born Every Minute docu series averaged 1.2 million viewers in its 10 p.m. debut, according to network officials. The series, which looks at life inside an Ohio maternity ward, also posted triple digit viewership increases compared to February 2010 averages among several key demos including adults 18-49; women 18-49; adults 25-54 and women 25-54, according to the network.
One hour earlier, two episodes of reality series Seriously Funny Kids each drew 1.1 million viewers in the series' Lifetime debut, according to the network. Hosted by Heidi Klum, Seriously Funny Kids highlights the often hilarious and often insightful things children say, the network said.
