SAG Awards: Kevin Spacey Wins For Best Actor

Netflix continues its winning ways during the Screen Actors Guild Awards, as House Of Cards star Kevin Spacey won for best actor in a drama series.

Spacey, who plays politician Francis Underwood in the series, beat out four actors from HBO series, including Steve Buschemi (Boardwalk Empire) Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Woody Harrelson (True Detective) and Matthew McConaughey (True Detective).

Netflix's Orange Is The New Black won two awards in the comedy category earlier this evening.

Viola Davis, star of ABC’s How to Get Away From Murder won for best actress in a drama, beating out Claire Danes (Homeland); Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey) Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife) and Robin Right (House Of Cards).

PBS' Downton Abbey wins best drama ensamble cast, besting cable entries Game Of Thornes and Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Homeland (Showtime), and House of Cards (Neflix). It was the second win for the series in the last three years. AMC's Breaking Bad won last year's best drama award.
