Speed Channel last week announced a package of original and behind-the-scenes National Association of Stock Car Racing programs that will comprise its weekday "NASCAR TV" programming block.
The flag drops for the nine-hour, afternoon-and-evening block on Feb. 11, with a 2002 NASCAR season preview. It will also feature such weekday shows as Inside Winston Cup,
an in-depth look at the circuit's drivers; Trackside, which offers live reports from NASCAR events; Racing Across America, which will highlight 39 NASCAR events; and Winston Cup Wednesday,
which will give viewers a closer look at the prior week's race.
Other shows include a pair of vintage NASCAR series, Men Behind the Wrenches
and Past Champions, as well as Totally NASCAR, said Speed Channel executives.
