Speed Channel will air 12 World of Outlaws Sprint Series broadcasts in 2007 under terms of a deal with DIRT MotorSports.
The network will also air six World of Outlaws Late Model Series events in 2007.
DIRT is a sanctioning body for sprint-car, late-model and modified-dirt-track auto racing in the United States, and it owns and operates seven dirt tracks.
In other Speed News, Pinks will return for its fourth season in February.
Pinks, which airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. (EST), “pits amateur racers against each other in a best-three-out-of-five, winner-take-all format,” the network said. “To compete, each racer must sign over the title of his or her car with full knowledge that if he or she loses the race, they lose their ride, making it the first reality show to ensure that contestants lose something other than their dignity.”
