Taking full advantage of its relationship with the National Association for
Stock Car Auto Racing, Speedvision will air a daily block of NASCAR-related
programming beginning in February.

Dubbed 'NASCAR TV,' the nine-hour, weekday-afternoon and evening block will
feature everything NASCAR, including race replays, highlights and qualifying
coverage for NASCAR Winston Cup and Busch Series events, network executives
said.

Also included in the exclusive block, which begins at 3 p.m. weekdays, are
classic and historical races; original news and lifestyle programs; season
previews and reviews; special event coverage; talk shows; and NASCAR-oriented
shows Totally NASCAR, NASCAR Victory Lane and NASCAR
Tech
.

Fox Cable Networks Group -- which purchased Comcast Corp.'s remaining
one-third share in the 40 million-subscriber network in August -- initially
wanted to convert the channel into a 24-hour NASCAR service.

But after viewer requests to retain the network's other motor-sports
programming, Fox decided to officially relaunch the service as Speed Channel in
February.

But by launching the NASCAR TV block, Speedvision can further capitalize on
Fox 's highly successful association with NASCAR.

'It's fair to say that from this point forward, due to its amazing
popularity, NASCAR programming will drive the Speed Channel,' president Jim
Liberatore said in a prepared statement.

'The NASCAR TV channel-within-a-channel concept is totally unique,' he
added.
