Spike TV's presentation of UFC heavyweights drew some heavy-duty ratings Saturday night.
Spike TV's The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights live finale, including a match in which MMA Internet sensation Kimbo Slice outpointed Houston Alexander, was the most-watched in the series 10 seasons, according to Spike officials.
The Dec. 5 airing drew 5.2 million viewers at its peak and averaged 3.7 million, according to Nielsen data. That made it the most-watched live UFC fight of the year (the group's bouts typically play out on pay-per-view).
The three-hour fight card averaged a 2.4 household rating and a 4.6 mark among guys 18 to 34.
Saturday capped a milestone season for Ultimate Fighter, which decked its the most-watched in the show's history averaging 3.4 million viewers, compared with some 2 million for the previous nine campaigns, according to Spike
