Spike TV announced Wednesday that it will air two shows from The Football
Network in a Saturday-morning block.
TFN’s Fantasy Football 2003 and Football 101 will run on Spike
Saturdays from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. Aug. 30-Dec. 27,with rebroadcast times to be
Fantasy Football 2003 is targeted toward the millions of fantasy players
who select individual players and enter leagues where ultimate winners are based
on player statistics.
The show will provide news and advice for the players, including roster
changes, injury reports, emerging rookies, who's hot-who's not reports and
Football 101 will be an 18-week, 30-minute magazine style program devoted
to a variety of relevant topics, such as an "NFL Preview," high-school football
coverage, great college-football rivalries, visits to some of the nation's most
lively football towns, a college-football preview, the "College Football Hall of
Fame Enshrinement Weekend" and more.
