Spike TV launched Spike Mobile Wednesday.
The service will offer short-form clips of content designed in five categories: “What's On” (Pros vs. Joes, Blade: The Series); “Action” (The Ultimate Fighter, Disorderly Conduct); “Gaming” (Game Head, Video Games Awards); “Gags” (MXC, Raising the Roofs); and “Wheels” (MuscleCar, Carpocalypse).
In other Spike TV wireless-content news, the network will team up with Amp'd Mobile Inc. and the Ultimate Fighting Championship to simulcast its Ultimate Fight Night Live to the handsets of Amp’d subscribers Thursday night.
The event will be held at The Joint in Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Thursday at 8 p.m. (EST).
