Spike TV said Monday that it will air a reality series developed with Ultimate Fighting Championship.
One- hour, 13-part reality series The Ultimate Fighter will debut in January.
A total of 20 athletes from all around the country will be selected to participate in The Ultimate Fighter, which will be filmed at the UFC Training Center in Las Vegas this summer and fall.
“The dedicated, fearless athletes competing in The Ultimate Fighter will set this show apart from other reality series," Spike TV senior vice president of sports and specials Jim Burns said in a prepared statement.
“The behind-the-scenes look at their lifestyles and intense training regimen will resonate with our audience and fits in with our brand identity,” he added.
