Los Angeles-based SportsCenter anchors Neil Everett and Stan Verrett will be on early-morning call on May 13, when they host the 2010 NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast.
The event, scheduled for 7 a.m. to 8: 30 a.m. (PT) at the JW Marriott at LA Live! I Los Angeles will features the group's presentation of its Next Generation Leader Awards, which honor the industry's emerging business leaders who reflect and embrace NAMIC's mission to educate, advocate and empower to achieve diversity and inclusion in the communications industry.
George Bodenheimer, president, ESPN, Inc. and ABC Sports, and co-chairman, Disney Media Networks, is the honorary chair for the 2010 NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast, which is part of the industry's Cable Connection--Spring.
"We are excited to have Neil and Stan join us as hosts of the Annual Awards Breakfast as we recognize this year's Next Generation Leaders that are encouraging diversity and inclusion, while making innovative, creative and strategic contributions that are central to their companies' performance," said NAMIC president Kathy Johnson in a statement.
NAMIC board of directors, James Brown, senior vice president, ESPN Rise, ESPN and Danielle Wade, vice president, Customer Service and Marketing, Bright House Networks are the Planning Committee Co-Chairs for the 2010 NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast.
