Time Warner Cable reached a deal to distribute The Sportsman Channel throughout its 31 local divisions nationwide, the two parties said.
Sportsman -- which airs hunting and fishing programming 24 hours per day, seven days per week -- is currently available in more than 11 million broadcast and cable households on a full- and part-time basis.
“We are extremely excited to work with Time Warner Cable,” Sportsman CEO Michael Cooley said in a prepared statement.
“They see the excellence in our unique and quality programming, which allows us to be the destination channel for the avid hunter and angler,” he added. “We look forward to further developing our relationship with Time Warner Cable to increase and satisfy subscribers. Making our service available to more sportsmen and women will also benefit our advertisers and sponsors.”
