SportsTime Ohio Features Six State High School Football Championship Games

SportsTime Ohio’s OHSAA football coverage concludes this week with a six-pack presentation of division state championship games, three in high-definition.

The regional sports network, whose principal calling card is Cleveland Indians’ Major League Baseball games, kicks off its coverage Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. (ET) with the Division VI match between Delphos St. John’s vs. Bascom Hopewell-Loudon. That contest is followed at 3 p.m. by the HD telecast of the Division IV title tilt, pitting Steubenville vs. Kettering Archbishop Alter. Friday’s high school football fare finishes at 7 p.m. with the Division II game matching Sylvania Southview and Cincinnati Anderson.

Saturday’s lineup, featuring the games in the same windows as on Friday, starts with the HD presentation of the Division III game between Columbus Eastmoor Academy and Aurora. Next up: the Division V contest showcasing Youngstown Ursuline against. Findlay Liberty-Benton. STO’s championship coverage concludes with its HD telecast of the Division I championship contest, featuring Cleveland St. Ignatius vs. Cincinnati Elder.

Matt Underwood, Al Pawlowski, Greg Frey, Andre Knott, Mike Cairns, Matt D’Orazio, Jerry Rudzinski, and Katie Witham will provide the play-by-play, color commentary, and sideline reports. In addition, Mark Schwab of WTAM 1100 and Jim Isabella, the Principal of High School Sports will be in the STO studio providing updates and halftime programming.
