Sprint Hits 1M Mark for Mobile Video


Sprint Nextel said more than 1 million people have become customers of its Power Vision and Vision mobile-video networks.

The telco added that the two services cover more than 8,700 cities and communities nationwide and provide more than 50 channels.

“By listening to our more than 1 million mobile-video-capable customers, through our unmatched years of experience and with our consistent history of innovation, Sprint is uniquely positioned to assess and deliver what customers truly want in a viewing experience on their phones," senior vice president of product management and development Oliver Valente said in a prepared statement.

"Today, the Sprint Power Vision network provides customers with a strong mobile-TV experience, with broadband-like speeds, full-motion video and clear sound,” he added.
