The Ultimate Fighting Championship hopes to wrestle more than 1 million buys for its July 11 UFC 100 pay-per-view event, UFC president Dana White told Multichannel News.
The milestone PPV event from Las Vegas, which sells at a suggested retail price of $44.95, will feature several title fights including a rematch bout between Brock Lesnar and veteran mixed martial arts contender Frank Mir for the heavyweight title. The welterweight title is also up for grabs as champion Georges St. Pierre puts his belt on the line against contender Thiago Alves.
Also on the card is a middleweight fight between the two coaches from season nine of Spike TV's Ultimate Fighter, Britian's Michael Bisping and the USA's Dan Henderson.
