Starz App Aligns With Xbox One

Starz has added the Xbox One to the list of devices supporting a new app from the premium programmer that serves as both a TV Everywhere offering to enhance existing pay TV subscriptions as well as a conduit for Starz's recently launched direct-to-consumer OTT subscription service that runs $8.99 per month.

Starz expanded access on the console ahead of the season two premieres of Blunt Talk and Ash Vs Evil Dead, set for Sunday, Oct. 2.

The Starz app, which offers a library of more than 3,200 titles, is also offered on the Apple TV (fourth-gen and newer), iOS and Android mobile devices, Roku players and integrated Roku TVs, and Sony’s Android TV-powered sets. Starz currently offers a live stream via Starz.com to customers who access it via their TV Everywhere credentials or the new digital standalone offering.
