Starz, the Lionsgate-owned premium programmer, said it has integrated its app with Google Home, enabling consumers to use their voice to find and control the playback of Stars programming, including original series such as Counterpart, Power and Outlander.

The technical tie-in enables that when Google Home smart hubs are linked to Chromecast-connected devices.

The Starz app supports the programmer’s authenticated TV Everywhere offering as well as Starz’s direct-to-consumer OTT service, which sells for $8.99 per month following a free trial for new subs.
