EchoStar Communications Corp. and Starz Encore Group LLC are teaming up on two campaigns that will run consecutively from April 22-June 30.
The multifaceted joint marketing initiative is being driven by the exclusive television premieres of Finding Nemo and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl on Starz! May 22 and June 12, respectively, both at 9 p.m. (EST/PST).
"We are thrilled that Dish Network embraced the large-scale acquisition efforts behind this campaign," Starz Encore president of sales and marketing Robert B. Clasen said in a prepared statement.
"This is an enormous, multitactical program that is one of many new ways Starz is responding to the needs of our affiliate partners and anticipating the opportunities we have with them," he added.
