Starz Donation Makes Kids’ Wishes A Reality

Thirteen Colorado children battling life-threatening medical conditions will have their wishes granted by Starz Entertainment Group.

This is the 10th year the entertainment company has partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to bring cheer to the lives of sick children. Some of the “adopted” wishes this year entail providing family trips to Walt Disney World and making over a child's bedroom. It is funded with a $50,000 donation from Starz and its employees.

In addition to the cash donations, wish children and their families will be treated to a party with prizes and a chance to star in their own movie.

Bill Myers, president and chief operating officer of Starz Entertainment, said, "We proudly present this gift in the spirit of giving and as an expression of our commitment to give these special kids some much deserved light-hearted fun and happy memories."

In its decade of support of the foundation, Starz has granted 130 wishes for ill children.
