The American Cable Association said Monday that it has snared a Senate bigwig to deliver the keynote address at its 12th Annual Summit May 16 in Washington, D.C.
Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation chairman Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) will deliver the legislative keynote address.
His speech joins an industry keynote address by Cebridge Connections CEO Jerry Kent and panel discussions featuring several congressional and Federal Communications Commission officials.
“ACA is honored to have Sen. Ted Stevens address our members in the nation’s capital,” CEO Matt Polka said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to the valuable insight he will share on key legislative issues pertaining to the cable industry.”
