Strong January for Lifetime

Lifetime Television said Tuesday that it posted its third consecutive month of primetime-ratings growth in January.

The women’s network averaged a 1.8 Nielsen Media Research household rating, up 6% from January 2004, on the back of its Lifetime Original Movies and “New Movie Monday” acquired premieres.

The 1.8 ratings Lifetime posted in December and January marked the network’s highest-rated months in primetime since September 2003.
