Style is importing a cooking/lifestyle show from across the pond.

The network will begin airing Nigella Bites -- a popular program
starring a beautiful single mother that has been airing in the United Kingdom
over the past two years -- in primetime starting Nov. 17, E! Networks president
Mindy Herman said. The show premiered on the British Broadcasting Corp.'s
Channel 4 in 2000.

Style has ordered 15 half-hour episodes and a one-hour Christmas special of
the program, which stars Nigella Lawson, the widow of British journalist and
broadcaster John Diamond and daughter of former British Chancellor of the
Exchequer Nigel Lawson.

Nigella Bites follows Lawson as she drops off her two children at school
and then goes about her day, including a stop at the local grocery store. From
there, Lawson provides tips about how to prepare meals from the kitchen of her
London home.

A Style spokeswoman said the network has acquired the rights to the first
five Nigella Bites installments that aired on Channel 4 in 2000 and the
10 that followed up this year.

'Nigella Bites is a terrific series and one that truly reflects what
our viewers want in a cooking show -- real food for real people,' Herman said in
a prepared statement.

'Despite her international celebrity, Nigella is someone we can all relate to
-- a single working mom with a busy schedule whose love of good food inspires
her to `maximum pleasure with minimum effort,' as she herself puts it,' she
added. 'We're confident that our audience will embrace the show as millions have
abroad.'
