Style reached a programming and marketing agreement with online wedding media company The Knot.
The two companies will team up on specials, stunts and interstitials, starting with Style’s White Wedding programming stunt in December, during which interstitials chronicling real-life stories taken from TheKnot.com will air.
In the first quarter of 2007, the network will air My Celebrity Wedding by The Knot, a spinoff special from its My Celebrity Home.
“The Knot and Style complement each other perfectly,” E! Networks executive vice president of marketing and communications Suzanne Kolb said in a prepared statement. “We both aspire to provide our audiences with great stories, helpful information and celebrate the beauty, drama and reality of weddings.”
The Knot CEO David Liu added, “With its fresh and innovative lifestyle programming, Style is the perfect home for us.”
