Sundance Cracks Code Inconnu

Sundance Channel has acquired domestic premium rights to Cannes Film Festival
award-winning film Code Inconnu.

The film, starring Oscar-winning actress Juliette Binoche (The English
, Chocolat), will make its U.S. premiere on Sundance July 6 at
9 p.m. The movie will also be released theatrically in select cities come

Produced by Marin Karmitz and Alain Sarde, Code Inconnu is a
fast-paced, incisive look at today's fragmented, multicultural society. The film
is set in Paris, and it tracks the intersecting paths of five people who would
seem to share little beyond their residence in the City of Lights.

The title debuted at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival, where it was awarded the
'Special Price of the Ecumenical Jury,' an interfaith honor bestowed on films
with themes that are universal in scope.
