Sundance Channel said the first episode of season 2 of Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys is available now on Twitter, four days before the reality series' Nov. 18 linear return.
Sundance said it was the first network to premiere a show on Twitter.
After today's Twitter premiere, viewers will also be able to access the episode via Sundance Channel's social TV application on Facebook and it will also be available on Hulu and Perezhilton.com.
The entire first season of the show will be available on Netflix beginning Nov. 15.
Sundance said it is seeking buzz for the show via Twitter because it has built an active digital fan base including more than 237,000 Facebook "fans."
The unscripted series celebrates and explores the special relationship between women and their gay best friends.
Sundance also touted its social TV application on Facebook and SundanceChannel.com that lets users chat with one another, watch full episodes with friends and take polls and quizzes around show themes while sharing on Facebook and Twitter. Sundance Channel's social TV application is powered by ClipSync.
Sundance Channel partnered with New York based agency Deep Focus on several of these digital marketing initiatives.
The second season of Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys returns to Sundance Channel with back to back episodes on Friday, Nov. 18, at 9 and 9:30 p.m.
