Sunshine Network Feels the Heat

Sunshine Network and the National Basketball Association’s Miami Heat announced a long-term extension to their carriage deal.

The new agreement, effective at the start of the 2004-05 NBA season, provides Sunshine with exclusive regional telecast rights in all languages for a minimum of 70 regular-season games, up from 46 during the current season, as well as all available Heat playoff games.

Fox Cable Networks Group’s Sunshine has been airing Heat games since the 1993-94 season.
