Comcast added the Pittsburgh Steelers to its on-demand roster.
Content centering around the defending National Football League champions is now available to the operator's digital-cable subscribers in the Pittsburgh market via Steelers 24/7.
The service, currently offering about 35 hours, features segments from training camps, as well as preseason games that originally aired on KDKA-TV. Quarterback Ben (No. 7) Roethlisberger and cornerback Ike (No. 24) Taylor are the spokesmen for the service.
A Day in the Life looks such players as Joey Porter, Hines Ward and Alan Faneca during the offseason, while Meet the Draft Picks provides a glance at the personal side of the club's rookies.
Other segments: Steelers in the Community, Steeler Sightings and Hall of Fame Show, hosted by former players Tunch Ilkin and Craig Wolfley.
Game highlights and interview wrap-ups will be seen regularly on This Week in Steelers Country, which will become available on Fridays and also serve as a preview for the upcoming contest, according to officials at Comcast's Three Rivers Region.
