GolTV will kick off coverage of the Spanish Supercup at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday (Aug. 14) at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid as Copa del Rey winners Real Madrid host La Liga champion FC Barcelona.
The second leg of the match will be played on Wednesday, Aug. 17, with GolTV coverage commencing at 5 p.m. ET live from Camp Nou, home of Barcelona, winner of the UEFA Champions League, Europe's premier club tournament, this past May.
Barcelona features such star players as David Villa, Xavi Hernández and Lionel Messi. On the other side of the field, Real Madrid's roster boasts stars including goalkeeper Iker Casillas, Ricky Kaká and the league's top goal scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The two teams have dominated Spain's La Liga since the 1950s and play each other twice per season in the league and, in 2010-11, also squared off in El Clasico contests in the Copa del Rey in Spain and in the semifinals of the Champions League.
Bilingual GolTV recently secured a launch of its HD channel on AT&T U-verse.
