SureWest Communications Friday named Steve C. Oldham president and CEO.
Oldham, who has been on SureWest’s board of directors since January 2004, retired from Sierra Pacific Resources in 2002 as senior vice president, energy supply after a 26-year career.
SureWest also announced that current president and CEO Brian H. Strom will remain an employee of the company until March 31, at which time he will retire as an executive officer after 17 years of service but continue in a consulting role.
And senior VP Jay Kinder will retire Dec. 31, with senior VP Fred Acuri taking over Kinder’s role.
