Survey: Subs Want Discounted Bundles

Two-thirds of consumers are willing to take bundled services from providers,
provided that there is a 10 percent discount off their bill.

That was a key finding of Horowitz Associates Inc.'s latest report,
Bundled Services 5: A Study of the Competitive Market for Bundled and
Broadband Services
, released Friday.

The study also found that operators that offer bundles would be able to
garner incremental revenue from services such as high-speed Internet access,
digital cable and premium channels, because 20 percent of respondents indicated
that they would likely spend the money saved on packages to subscribe to
incremental services.
