FX will run a yearlong affiliate-marketing effort driven by five
original-programming projects in 2003.
The 'FX Originals' program will center around hit series The Shield,
new shows Lucky and The Snitch and upcoming original movies The
Pentagon Papers and Flight 93: The Families.
The Shield will receive the initial boost, according to Fox Cable
Networks Group senior vice president of affiliate marketing Janice Arouh. The
gritty crime series will benefit from a 'Bring Justice Home Sweepstakes' during
the first quarter.
FX will announce the tie-in promotion plans via electronic mail and direct
mail beginning Friday, Nov. 8, and Monday, Nov. 11.
