Syfy Beams Up Moscowitz As Strategic Marketing VP

Syfy has hired Sara Morgan Moscowitz as its vice president strategic marketing.

Based in Syfy's New York office, Moscowitz, who had been with Premiere Radio Networks, will oversee all multi-platform advertising partnerships, trade marketing and create innovative revenue-driving sales opportunities.

At Premiere Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, Moscowitz served as senior vice president, ad sales marketing and client solutions, since 2006. In this role, she built the ad sales marketing department, developing and leading Premiere's process for creating, presenting and selling through custom marketing solutions to prospective and existing clients.

Prior to that, she worked at Discovery Communications from 2003-05 as director of marketing for Discovery Channel, as well as director of media planning and partnerships, Discovery Channel, Discovery Kids, Discovery Health Channel and Fit TV.

From 2000-02, Moscowitz was vice president, account director, at Carat USA, where she established the shop's in-house agency inside Lifetime Television's marketing and promotion department.
