Eureka's third mid-season premiere played well last Friday with Syfy's key demos.
The season 3.5 premiere averaged 1.3 million adults 25 to 54 and 11 million adults 18 to 49 in the 9 p.m. hour on July 10, according to Nielsen Media Research data. All told, the show pulled in some 2.6 million watchers.
The series won the basic-cable time period among adults 25 to 54, while also beating out ABC in that demo, according to network officials.
For the day, Syfy trailed only sister service USA Network in primetime with that group for all of cable.
The show's 3.5 season premiere posted a 23% rise among adults 18 to 49 and 19% against adults 25 to 54 versus the season three finale on Sept. 23, 2008.
