Syfy Renews ‘Magicians’ for Third Season

Syfy has renewed its fantasy series The Magicians for a third season, network officials said Wednesday.

The series, based on Lev Grossman’s bestselling novels The Magicians, is currently posting viewership increases in its sophomore season across all key demos compared to season one, according to the network.

The Magicians, which follows a group of 20-somethings tasked with saving the existence of magic, is executive produced by John McNamara, Sera Gamble, Chris Fisher and Groundswell Productions' Michael London and Janice Williams.
