Loral Space & Communications Inc. has named Michael B. Targoff CEO.
Targoff has been vice chairman of Loral's board since November. He succeeds Bernard L. Schwartz, who announced his retirement effective March 1.
Loral also announced that Mark H. Rachesky has been named nonexecutive chairman.
