National League Wild Card Game Draws 4.6 Million Viewers

TBS’ Pittsburgh Pirates-Cincinnati Reds National League Wild Card game last night drew 4.6 million viewers, the network announced Wednesday.

The game, won by the Pirates, posted a 15% increase among total viewers compared to last year’s 3.9 million viewers garnered by the St. Louis Cardinals-Atlanta Braves Wild Card game, according to Nielsen Fast Nationals.

TBS’ telecast was the most watched program across all cable networks Tuesday night. TBS’ baseball playoffs coverage continues tonight with the Tampa Bay Rays/Cleveland Indians American League Wild Card game, and Thursday with the Pirates/Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers/Atlanta Braves NL Division Series contests.
