Turner Classic Movies is teaming up with Architectural Digest in October to produce an on-air Architecture in Film festival.
The promotion includes a sweepstakes and coincides with the magazine’s special Architecture Issue, as well as a series of Architecture Days events scheduled for Los Angeles, New York and Miami.
Other features include Wednesday-night airings in October on TCM of movies in which architecture plays a prominent role, as well as an eight-page Architecture in Film ad section of Architectural Digest and an online promotion on the network’s Web site (www.tcm.com), the magazine’s site (www.archdigestevents.com) and American Leather’s site (www.americanleather.com).
TCM will air the sweepstakes spot, and the grand-prize winner will receive a media-room shopping spree of $15,000 from American Leather, plus an HD flat-screen TV with Ambilight from Philips Electronics. A total of 25 runner-up winners will receive the Architecture in Film DVD set.
