TCM To Pay Tribute To Edwards


TCM on Dec. 27 will air five films from legendary director Blake Edwards who passed away Thursday Dec. 16.
TCM's tribute s will feature such Edwards-produced films as Breakfast At Tiffany's, starring Audrey Hepburn and Mickey Rooney; Days Of Wine and Roses starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick; The Pink Panther, starring Peter Sellers; Victor/Victoria starring Julia Andrews and Operation Petticoat, staring Cary Grant and Tony Curtis.
"From Operation Petticoat to the wonderful Victor/Victoria, Blake Edwards made watching movies a consistently entertaining and enjoyable experience," said TCM primetime host and film historian Robert Osborne. "But he could also emotionally touch you with a dramatic story such as Days of Wine and Roses or a romantic tale like Breakfast at Tiffany's. We're very proud at TCM to pay tribute to this extremely versatile filmmaker."
