TCM to Salute Andrew Griffith with Four-Film Tribute on July 18


Turner Classic Movies will celebrate the life and career of Andy Griffith with a quartet of the actor's film.
Griffith, best known for his leading roles in TV's The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock, died in his home North Carolina home at the age of 86.
The vintage movie network will air a four-film memorial tribute on July 1, beginning at 8 p.m. with A Face in the Crowd (1957). The Eliz Kazan film will be followed with No Time for Sergeants (1958) at 10:15 p.m., Hearts of the West (1975) at 12:30 a.m. on July 19 and Onionhead (1958) at 2:15 a.m.
