Turner Classic Movies will air documentary Budd Boetticher: A Man Can Do That Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. (EST/PST), the network said Tuesday.
The network described the documentary as “a special tribute to Western director Budd Boetticher and his frequent star, Randolph Scott.”
Directors Quentin Tarantino, Paul Schrader, Clint Eastwood, Taylor Hackford, Peter Bogdanovich and Robert Towne are interviewed during the documentary, which also features eight hours of interviews with Boetticher before his death in 2001.
Seven Men from Now, the first of Boetticher’s and Scott's collaborations, will immediately follow Budd Boetticher: A Man Can Do That at 9:30 p.m.
A salute to Scott will follow, featuring The Last of the Mohicans (1936) at 12:30 a.m., Western Union (1941) at 2:15 a.m. and Trail Street (1947) at 4 a.m.
