Technetix's Howe Joins NCTA Board

Broadband cable company Technetix has joined NCTA-The Cable & Television Association and Sandy Howe, EVP and president, American, of Technetix, has been named to the NCTA board.

Howe oversees U.S., Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, including sales, customer service, product management, finance, HR, and operations

How began her career as a sales engineer at Broadband Networks Inc (Numerex), followed by stints at Cisco and ARRIS. 

“I am especially happy to welcome Sandy to NCTA’s Board," said NCTA President Michael Powell. "Her technical expertise and track record of building strategic relationships will serve as a great addition to our organization, and I look forward to working with her.” 

It will just be the latest board appointment for Howe. She is already a member of the board of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) Foundation, and in January, she will become chair of the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) global board. 

In October, Howe was inducted into the 2019 class of Cable TV Pioneers. She was a Multichannel NewsWonder Woman in 2015.
