Tennis Adds 100 US Open Series Hours

The Tennis Channel and the United States Tennis Association have partnered on a four-year deal in which the programmer will present more than 100 hours of live and same-day delayed coverage of the US Open Series.

The US Open Series is a six-week package of 10 men’s and women’s hard-court tournaments aimed at lifting interest and ratings leading up to the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadow, N.Y.

Through 2007, Tennis will present weekday and select weekend singles coverage, as well as doubles semifinals and finals action, from five tournaments.
