Serena, Venus Team as Tennis Channel Serves Up Fed Cup

Tennis Channel will provide live coverage of the U.S. Fed Cup team competition beginning this Saturday, the network said.

The network will air the team’s Feb. 7 and Feb. 8 first-round competition against Argentina in Buenos Aires. Serena and Venus Williams will serve as part of the American team that needs to defeat Argentina to keep its chances alive to qualify for the 2016 Fed Cup tournament.

Tennis Channel will also cover the 2015 Fed Cup first-round competition between Poland and Russia live, in Krakow, Poland, beginning at 6 a.m. ET Saturday and Sunday, said network officials.
